The team with the best regular season record gets home field advantage in the World Series, meaning they get Games 1 and 2 at home, along with a potential Games 6 and 7. https://quicklocs.com/ The other team gets Games 3 and 4, and a possible Game 5, at home.

Dodgers: Freeman has played through a badly sprained right ankle all postseason. The star first baseman has missed three games, including NLCS Game 6 against the Mets. But after a handful of days off before Game 1, he was back in the lineup. Reliever Brusdar Graterol was added to the roster after missing the first two rounds. Joe Kelly, on the other hand, was not on the roster.

This will be the dozenth dalliance between the Dodgers and Yankees going back to 1941 but the first since 1981. Given the investments these two teams pour into their rosters and their postseason pedigree — in the Wild Card era (since 1995), the Yankees have reached the playoffs 25 times and the Dodgers 18 — it was only a matter of time before they simultaneously overcame October’s unpredictability and found each other in the fall.

4. Which star will make this Series his?It truly is incredible how many stars there are in this World Series. Of the seven players who have the best-selling jerseys in MLB this year, we will be watching four of them: Shohei Ohtani (No. 1), Aaron Judge (No. 3), Mookie Betts (No. 4) and Juan Soto (No. 7). That’s not even accounting for Giancarlo Stanton, Cole and Freeman (No. 18 on the list, by the way). There are a whole bunch of likely future Hall of Famers in this Series, and every single one of them is going to be trying to create a moment that leads their induction reel.

I’d rate it lower if possible, i played 6 straight games where i did not lose to poor strategy but because the dice roll odds are ridiculous. I lost a 17 more troops then they did when we both started with 30 and then the next turn I attack someone and lost all 13 troops on another territory when they were defending with 6. This has happened multiple times to players that pay for the risk premium account and only in critical points in the game. Every review I’ve seen just gets replied to with a “check out our dice odds” automated reply but it’s almost statistically impossible to lose 6 games in a row like that at critical points and never have one of them go my way. In addition to the dice odds, computer/AI needs to play like an actual person. There have been multiple times it just continues to attack me or attacks another person when it does not make sense. This has both helped and hurt me but it shouldn’t be a thing. I can leave a territory that’s giving me a continent bonus with only 1 troop in it and they will refuse to attack me and it’s gone both ways. Lastly, they do not actually evaluate reports. Several times players will either blatantly cheat or stall (refusing to attack the last remaining territory just to draw out a game). Even when reporting this they send back a reply saying they didn’t do it. I have no clue how you can look at someone not attacking the sole territory for multiple turns and not call it stalling. Horribly run game.

On NBC, after Gibson limped around the bases, Scully famously exclaimed, “The impossible has happened!” and on radio, Buck equally famously exclaimed, “I don’t believe what I just saw!” Gibson’s home run set the tone for the series, as the Dodgers went on to beat the A’s 4 games to 1. The severity of Gibson’s injury prevented him from playing in any of the remaining games.

The series-clinching win took seven pitchers and multiple comebacks to secure the Dodgers’ first World Series championship in front of fans — albeit in their opponents’ ballpark — since 1988, when late Dodger broadcaster Scully and pitcher Valenzuela were members of the franchise.
