Another FromSoftware eldritch nightmare, “Bloodborne” has its own set of difficulties to set it apart. Along with its gothic horror aesthetic, “Bloodborne” encourages an aggressive playstyle, rewarding you for dodging, countering, and striking from behind. Some key items, like healing Blood Vials or Silver Bullets, don’t come back after you die, which is horrendous when you’re fighting a tough boss, of which there are of course many. Speaking of which, would it have killed them to put lamps closer to the bosses?! And that opening level makes for a steep learning curve! No leveling up until you fight the first boss?! Sheesh…

When is the game and how can I watch it?Game 3 of the World Series will be played at Yankee Stadium in New York on Monday at 8:08 p.m. ET/5:08 p.m. PT. All World Series games will start at the same time and be televised on FOX.
Starting in 1976, the DH rule was used in the World Series held in even-numbered years. The Cincinnati Reds swept the 1976 Series in four games, using the same nine-man lineup in each contest. Dan Driessen was the Reds’ DH during the series, thereby becoming the National League’s first designated hitter. From 1986 to 2019, and in 2021, the DH was used only in World Series games played at American League parks, and pitchers were required to bat in games played at National League parks. In 2020, and starting in 2022, the DH rule was used in all World Series games, regardless of home team.
There were still a couple more chances for the Yankees. The Dodgers turned to reliever Blake Treinen, their own stalwart bullpen arm who had come in an inning before, and he created and then got out of a jam.

Another run came in the third, when NLCS MVP Tommy Edman drew a walk, advanced to second on an Ohtani groundout and then made a great read on Mookie Betts’ opposite-field single to right to motor home and make it 3-0. The Dodgers could have broken the game open that inning after they loaded the bases and compelled Boone to go to his bullpen by bringing in Mark Leiter Jr. with two outs. But Will Smith grounded out to end the threat.
With the Yankees leading by a run, reliever Jake Cousins was sent in to pitch the last three outs. He got Smith to fly out, then walked Gavin Lux. Edman followed with an infield single to put runners on first and second with one out. Cousins was then removed from the game and replaced with Nestor Cortés Jr., who hadn’t pitched since September 18. Cortés Jr. first faced Ohtani, who hit a ball into foul territory that was caught by a leaping Alex Verdugo, who toppled into the front row of the stands. Because Verdugo went out of play with the ball, the runners were awarded one base, advancing them to second and third. With the Dodgers down to their final out, the Yankees intentionally walked Betts, thus loading the bases and bringing Freddie Freeman to the plate. On the first pitch, Freeman hit a walk-off grand slam over the right field wall, winning Game 1 for Los Angeles. This is the third consecutive World Series Game 1 to be decided in extra innings, after it previously occurred in 2022 and 2023.
NEW YORK — Assuming the voting results for the Dodgers’ Shohei Ohtani and the Yankees’ Aaron Judge go as we expect them to go (hint: they will), this is only the seventh World Series to feature that season’s two MVPs.
Game 1 featured starting pitchers Jack Flaherty for the Dodgers and Gerrit Cole for the Yankees. Country singer Brad Paisley performed “The Star-Spangled Banner”. In tribute to Fernando Valenzuela, his former Dodger teammates Orel Hershiser and Steve Yeager placed a ball on the blue No. 34 painted on the pitcher’s mound instead of throwing out a ceremonial first pitch.
R&B singer and New York native Ashanti performed the national anthem before Game 4 and Paul O’Neill threw the ceremonial first pitch to A. J. Burnett. Luis Gil was the starting pitcher in Game 4 for the Yankees. The Dodgers employed a bullpen game with Ben Casparius as the opener.
